This is a unique opportunity for an excelling Analyst to gain valuable exposure to high-level infrastructure private equity deals including exciting sectors such as energy, communication, logistics, agriculture, and bulk infrastructure. You will participate in all aspects of the investment cycle including origination, screening, due diligence, execution, disbursement, and portfolio management.
As an Investment Analyst you will support the investment team in all facets of transaction execution and will contribute to the investment team’s performance by providing core financial analysis/modeling, investment research, high-quality investment memorandum materials, and other required support to enable sound investment decisions. You will enjoy close interaction with highly experienced senior members of the investment team and will gain broad commercial exposure to infrastructure assets and growth-focused businesses.
You will need strong experience in:
- Preparing rigorous financial analysis and building financial models to support investment decision making
- Conducting industry, market and company research
- Financial Statement Analysis (strong understanding of Financial Reports)
- Writing Investment Papers & Investment Reviews
- Carrying out Market Research and Investment Appraisal
In addition, you will need:
- Relevant Degree
- Min 1-3 years’ investment experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- To be a Botswana citizen
