As part of this exciting journey, we are seeking a strategic and transformative Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) to drive excellence in human capital and workforce management.
Reporting to the CEO: Key responsibilities include:
• Human Capital Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive human capital framework aligned with BTC’s strategic objectives.
• Talent Management: Attract, retain, and develop top talent through robust learning initiatives, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Compensation & Benefits: Design competitive and innovative reward systems aligned with business goals and industry benchmarks.
• Employee Relations: Foster positive labour relations and resolve grievances through constructive engagement.
• Organizational Development: Lead change management initiatives and drive productivity improvements to support BTC’s transformation agenda.
• Employee Wellbeing: Oversee Health Safety Environment (HSE) policies, employee assistance programs, and work-life balance initiatives.
• Cultural Development: Champion diversity, equity, inclusion and employee engagement to nurture a positive and inclusive organisational culture.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in senior human capital leadership role within a large, complex organisation is required.
• Experience in human capital transformation and managing culture change within the telecommunications industry or a related sector is essential.
• A Master’s degree and a certification from a recognised HR professional body (e.g SHRM, CIPD) is preferred.
