Okavango Diamond Company (ODC) is a premier rough diamond marketing company, offering global customers open access to a large-scale supply of rough diamonds sourced from Botswana. As the principal supplier in the sector, ODC represents the largest guaranteed source of Botswana’s diamond production within the industry. Currently undergoing an exciting transformation, ODC is seeking a dedicated, self-driven professional to join its dynamic team.
Reporting to: Senior Manager Marketing
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the quality, authenticity, and value of special and exceptional diamonds.
- Lead the margin creation agenda by effectively managing valuation and pricing between purchase and sale, directly influencing revenue growth.
- Position ODC as a trusted source of rough diamond valuation, contributing to the company’s reputation for precision, integrity, and excellence in lot design and assortment configuration.
Experience and Qualifications
- Diploma in any discipline related qualification / commercial qualification / business administration / commerce / economics / marketing.
- 8 years’ experience, including 3 years strategic accountability for strategy and people management.
