Okavango Diamond Company (ODC) is a premier rough diamond marketing company, offering global customers open access to a large-scale supply of rough diamonds sourced from Botswana. As the principal supplier in the sector, ODC represents the largest guaranteed source of Botswana’s diamond production within the industry. Currently undergoing an exciting transformation, ODC is seeking a dedicated, self-driven professional to join its dynamic team.
Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing robust financial management and accounting systems to ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, management accounts reporting, overseeing internal controls, tax processing, payroll accounting, and managing compliance and governance matters.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial
- Management, Management Accounting
- Professional Qualification: Member of BICA / CIMA /ACCA / CPA / CFA
- 8 years post professional accounting qualification experience, including 3 years Management experience (line management track) or strategic accountability for functional area/capability (specialist track).
